My New Venture

SO, Paul got me a new camera a while back and I've been taking a class at BYU-Idaho to see if I could be any good. Here's my recent attempts at photos and photoshop. I think it's so fun and I'm hoping to get better. I think I have a new favorite pasttime!
A leaf in my yard. I blurred the background color for more emphasis.
I'm sure some of you are saying, "How'd she take this?" The beauty of a self timer. It worked!

My gorgeous Kate

Liz and her "Fairbanks Smile" (classic in Paul's family! They all have this smile) I love her eyes in this pic!

I LOVE the pioneer woman. I wish that we lived in the same town to take a class together. It's fun to create. Thanks for thinking of me!

nice pics :). what cam do you have? I've been thinking of upgrading to a dslr too (although Nick still thinks it's fair trade that he get an arcade game if I bought a new cam :P or I pay out of my own pocket :P). Dork. Should I ask him to pay back the MBA tuition and board I paid for the past 2 years? :D lol. jk. I'm debating among the Canon (xt, xti, xsi) or Nikon d60 (or40). Our current cam's on the fritz and I wish it had more options to balance white.

Hello! I totally remember you. I took your dad's book of mormon class at BYU-I forever ago! Wasn't he our Bishop when you were there in CDA? Its good to see you again. Your kids are beautiful! How are you doing? Are you guys just living in rexburg, or are you in school? What's the story?

Hi Sarah, I'm glad you found our blog! We didn't know you had a third child! Congratulations!! How is it having a boy?? We hope we get one someday :) I found a family friend of mine on your family and friends list. Liz Robertson! She grew up in Western PA not far from where I did and our families were good friends! How fun. Take care!

Very nice pictures Sarah. You're a great photographer. Yeah I've been doing photography as my main job since last July and I love it but it's really slow right now. I am hoping for it to pick up soon but we'll see. I actually have an interview today with a photography company so we'll see how that goes. When did you start shooting? Have you seen my website? A link for it is on our blog. -Brian
